Your financial picture is personal. Here is how TellyNest handles the information you choose to share.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we process your email address, account identifier and profile name. We store the financial entries you add, including names, amounts, currencies, dates and transaction types, along with your language and display-currency preferences. Membership records may include your plan, validity dates, coupon redemptions and subscription identifiers.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate your account, save and display your records, calculate currency-converted balances and charts, apply membership allowances, and support the service. TellyNest does not connect to your bank, initiate transfers or submit tax returns.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication and database storage. The current project is hosted in Tokyo, Japan, so information may be processed outside your country. When third-party sign-in is available and you choose it, the provider processes your login and shares basic account information. For store subscriptions, Apple or Google processes payments and RevenueCat helps verify subscription status. These services receive information needed for their role; financial entries are not part of a third-party sign-in request.
Device storage
The app and web workspace store sign-in session information on your device or browser to keep you signed in.
Website analytics
The public informational pages and the named web workspace screens (Overview, Reports, Journal, Assets, Chart of accounts, Ledger, Rates and Account) use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to record the page name and path, links and buttons selected, referring website, approximate location, device and browser type, and visit timing. Google signals and ad personalization are turned off. Analytics is not initialized on authentication callback pages. Financial entries, book identifiers, account emails and user IDs are not sent to Google Analytics. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Firebase Hosting also processes standard request information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the website.
Retention and your choices
You can edit your profile and financial entries, change preferences, or void entries. Voided entries remain stored but no longer contribute to balances. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete cloud records. You can permanently delete your account and owned financial records from Profile → Delete account in the app, or Account → Account security in the web workspace. Data export is not currently available. Contact details for privacy enquiries are listed on our support page when available. An anonymous completion receipt is retained without your name, email or user ID. Store providers may retain purchase records under their own policies.
Protecting your information
Requests use HTTPS, and authenticated access and database policies restrict access to account records. No service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password and verification links private.
Children and policy changes
TellyNest is intended for people managing their own financial records, not for children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the operator using the support details. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above identifies this version.
